PART 2 PRODUCTS
2.1 MANUFACTURERS

2.2 DOORS AND FRAMES
NOTE ** ICU/CCU-hospital sliding doors are available from Dor-O-Matic in complete packages, including aluminum doors, sidelites, frames, and hardware.
A. Doors, Sidelites, Headers, and Trim: Extruded aluminum alloy 6063-T5, nominal 0.125 inch (3.17 mm) wall thickness.
1. Door and Sidelite Construction: Heavy-duty interlocked sections, through-rod bolted construction; steel corner support at hinge stile of carrier-suspended SX panels to eliminate sag in sliding or breakout mode.
NOTE ** Include the following three subparagraphs for Slim-Line trackless doors (not for trackless telescoping).
a. Combination Support Guide: SX panel.
b. Roller Assembly: SO sidelite panel.
c. Glass Jacking Screw Assembly: SO sidelite panel.
NOTE ** Delete the following paragraph if electrical grounding is not required for the project.
2. Electrically ground sliding doors against static electricity.

10. Headers: 2-1/2 inches (63 mm) high, 4-1/2 inches (114 mm) wide with extruded aluminum stop bar mounted to underside in door opening to prevent SX panel from swinging until slid back to full position.
12. Hardware: Door handles, recessed door pulls, and other hardware required for normal and emergency egress operation per NFPA 101.
NOTE ** Select the first paragraph below for Standard doors with floor track, the second for Slim-Line doors with floor track, the third for trackless Slim-Line doors, the fourth for Slim-Line telescopic doors with floor track, and the fifth for trackless Slim-Line telescopic doors.
a. Emergency Egress: Non-adjustable magnetic latch on SX panels and emergency breakaway release on SO panels, allowing 90 degree swing of both panels under minimum pressure from any position in SX panel cycle.
b. Emergency Egress: Spring-loaded stainless steel ball detent latch on SO and SX panels, allowing 90 degree swing of both panels under minimum pressure from any position in SX panel cycle.
c. Emergency Egress: Flush bolt in SO panel releasable after SX panel is in full open position past aluminum stop bar, allowing 90 degree swing of both panels as a single unit under field-adjustable pressure.
d. Emergency Egress: Spring-loaded stainless steel ball detent latch on SO and SX panels, allowing 90 degree swing of both panels under minimum pressure from any position in SX panel cycle.
e. Emergency Egress: Spring-loaded stainless steel ball detent latch on SX panel(s), allowing 90 degree swing of SX panel(s) under minimum pressure from any position in panel cycle.
